Movimiento Tricolor has been at the forefront of empowering the Latino community in South Jersey through a wide range of cultural, educational, and economic initiatives. Since our founding, we have organized workshops, events, and long-term programs that uplift families, support business owners, and preserve Dominican heritage. Workshops
We have hosted a variety of free, accessible workshops, each designed to educate and empower our community. With 20-30 attendees per session, we have provided resources and tools on topics such as:

For over four years, Movimiento Tricolor has brought the community together through signature cultural celebrations and family-friendly events:

Dominican Restoration Day Festival – Held in Camden, NJ, this free family event has welcomed over 3,000+ attendees annually.

A growing WhatsApp community of 300+ Latina women fostering connection, information-sharing, and support in areas such as business, personal development, and community resources.

MTC previously hosted a tree-planting initiative in Cramer Hill, Camden, engaging residents in beautifying their neighborhood and fostering environmental awareness and hosting events such as Easter Day and Bilingual Yoga in Camden City Parks.

COVID-19 Latino Business Support

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Movimiento Tricolor recognized the urgent need for economic relief within the Latino business community. Our team provided one-on-one office hours to assist Latino business owners in navigating and completing COVID-19 grant applications, ensuring they had access to crucial funding opportunities to sustain their businesses during the crisis. In total, we supported 20+ business owners with city and county grant funding.
