Workshops

Consumer Protection Workshops
On March 11, MTC partnered with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs to host a virtual workshop via Zoom on combating immigration fraud. This initiative provided community members with crucial information on recognizing scams, understanding their rights, and accessing legitimate immigration resources. By equipping attendees with knowledge, the workshop aimed to prevent exploitation and protect individuals from fraudulent practices. Through this collaboration, MTC reinforced its commitment to advocating for a more informed and safeguarded immigrant community.

Social Determinants of Health
On March 17, Movimiento Tricolor, in collaboration with Immschools and Rutgers University, will host an engaging workshop for Eastside High School students on the factors that shape community well-being. The session will explore the impact of civic engagement, local government, law enforcement, and small businesses on public health, empowering students to understand their role in building stronger, healthier communities.
